This article is showing us that the internet is the best way to advertise for elections nowadays. It is cheaper than paying for television ad space and millions if not billions are on the internet daily. The internet has unlimited opportunities to advertise e.g. You Tube, Social Network Sites and E Mail just to name a few. Many of the SNS’s are able to track what people are viewing so candidates can find out what constituents are interested in so that can work to their advantage. I would hope though that advertisers would not email everyone if they have not signed up for them.
