At Invesco field in Denver where more than 70,000 people attended a rally for Obama there was massive texting going on to a number in order to build a large database. The database then has your number and know you are an Obama supporter so they can send you information to spread Obama’s word. After that you can send to everyone in your contact list and if they are interested they can text the number and so on and so forth until the Obama campaign can build a bigger database. The Obama campaign got on the bandwagon with mobile technology which is one of the best ways to reach their supporters because they tend to be younger and more wired. It was a brilliant idea and it worked.
Question 1. Do you think mobile technology is the way of future elections?
